This seems consistent with another player who was able to run the game normally by upgrading to Windows 10. Apparently if you uninstall (not repair) and then reinstall the two vcredit files, the mods will work. Unfortunately I do not know how to actually open these files to check what the coding says, as my computer skills with coding are rather limited.ģ.) Two or more other players have commented on the “vcredit” files located outside of the “launcher” folder. My suspicions tell me the launcher issue for “Mod Manager” may be localized to one of these two files. For some reason it has been deactivated for Attilla.Ģ.) When verifying the integrity of the files after replaced the Attila “launcher” files with the Rome II launcher files, I noticed that, within the “launcher” folder that has been brought in from Rome II, only two files are changed: “launcher” and “steam_api.dll”. Curiously, the option for “Mod Manager” does appear, but it is grayed out. Since “Mod Manager” appears on the Rome II launcher, I went to the Attila tab to run Attila directly from the Rome II launcher menu. Apparently you can scroll between all the Total War titles you own by using any game launcher that brings up this menu. However, this option does not appear in Attila, despite that the same exact files are being used.ġ.1) As a subnote: If you launch Rome II, on the launcher menu where “Mod Manager” is, above where it says “Play Game”, the game Rome II is itself a tab.

So, I have had a little bit of time to try to sort this out but have had little luck.ġ.) The Rome II “launcher” folder that replaces the “launcher” folder in Attila does have the Mod Manager option when Rome II is launched. This is an empty text document, so it should not change the result. Note: The Dropbox folder does not possess the "awesomium" file. If these files are not there, try reinstalling Rome II to see if the "launcher" files have been updated. Note: These should be the files in your Rome II "launcher folder" that go into your Attila "launcher" folder: I believe there are a few more files in the Attila "launcher" folder than in the Rome II "launcher" folder. Note: Pasting over the existing "launcher" folder in Attila may keep some of the existing launcher files from the attila folder, so it may not work. Repeat steps 1-4 under Attila and leave the windows side-by-sideĥ.) Delete the existing "launcher" folder from AttilaĦ.) Copy the "launcher" folder from Rome IIħ.) Go to Local Files tab > Browse Local Files I will add my observations regarding the missing “Mod Manager” below (which is related to the general launcher issue). This fix will not repair the mod issue yet.
